Winter break!

On a crisp winter’s day, I’m following family and friends through winding forest trails, surrounded by black pines, alders, spruce and larch, oaks and silver birches. We’re chilling (literally) in the alpine village, Hanmer Springs / Te Whakatakanga o te Ngārahu o te ahi a Tamatea, but looking forward to soaking in the thermal hotpools.
